It has been a long held desire of mine to create a map of South Straddie with all of the various walking tracks clearly shown on it. It would either have to be paid for by advertising, or cost some small amount of money and so has never quite come to fruition. I wanted the map to be free to users and there are not that many businesses on the island to carry the cost through advertising.
Now what might be better than a map. A walking tour App of course. The App is pocketsights and is free to download. once downloaded it will very likely find the one walking tour I have created to date just by knowing where you are. Long way to go of course I have to map lots of other walks. It is American and so it shows the distance in miles, a small hiccup I may be able to overcome.
It does allow me to add pictures of various "stops" on the walk and it will guide you all the way around via your smartphone. Should be fun and gives me another excuse for lots more walking on the island.
